Terms & Conditions

1. This Movie Pass offer entitles cardholders to purchase 2 movie vouchers for the price of one, at the price specified for 3, 6 or 12 months following activation (first purchase). Last date to purchase movie vouchers is 31.12.2012. Maximum of one movie voucher purchase per Movie Pass holder, per day.
2. The Movie Pass card is available to all Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Offer applies to new bookings only and is not available to employees of TLC Marketing Worldwide Pty Ltd or agencies appointed by TLC and their immediate families. Maximum of one Movie Pass per person.
3. Recipients must redeem this offer online. Cardholders are required to purchase one movie voucher at $20.50 ($18 + $2.50 admin fee) then customers will be mailed (via standard post) two movie vouchers for use at participating cinemas. Movie vouchers are valid for standard screenings any day, excluding after 5pm on Saturdays. Movie vouchers are exchanged directly for movie tickets at participating cinemas.
4. Movie vouchers will be posted out (from Sydney) on a same day dispatch service. Movie voucher purchases placed by 3.30pm Mon-Fri will be dispatched on the same day. Purchases made after 3.30pm or on a weekend will be dispatched on the next business day.
5. Only Visa or Mastercard payments will be accepted. Once a voucher is purchased no refunds are available.
6. Movie vouchers can be used at participating Event cinemas, Greater Union, Birch Carroll & Coyle and Village cinema locations Australia wide. Exclusions include Gold Class and Europa Movies, Movie Marathons or any other special screening. A surcharge applies for Vmax theatre entry and 3D presentations.
7. Movie vouchers must be presented at a participating cinema and possession of a movie voucher does not guarantee or reserve a seat - seating is subject to availability.
8. It is the responsibility of the holder to use movie vouchers by the specified expiry date. Movie vouchers have been sold with the understanding that vouchers will not be extended or replaced. Movie vouchers are valid for a minimum of three months from receipt.
9. Movie voucher(s) cannot be transferred or sold without the prior written consent of participating cinemas.
10. Please note that due to advance booking policies the film and performance you wish to attend may be sold out and seats might not be available. Use of the movie vouchers are subject to availability and may be limited during public and school holidays.
11. The holder of the movie vouchers is not entitled to any preferential right over other cinema patrons. Film classification rules apply. ID may be required.
12. Movie vouchers are non refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. No change given. Movie vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other special or offer where the admission value of the special or offer is greater than the value of standard admission ticket.
13. Only valid Movie Pass holders will be eligible use this offer which is not transferable and cannot be re-sold.
14. Neither the promoter, nor its agents or distributors can accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged Movie Pass or movie vouchers and reserve the right to withdraw or amend any details and/or offers.
15. The Promoter or TLC is not liable for any loss suffered by customers when using the Gift cards/vouchers.
16. Neither TLC, its agents or distributors will in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the purchaser or other bearer, or accept any liability for (a) any non-acceptance by a venue of the vouchers or (b) any inability by the bearer to use the Gift card and/or vouchers properly or at all or (c) the contents, accuracy or use of either the vouchers or the venue listing, nor will any of them be liable for any personal loss or injury occurring at a participating venue, and (d) TLC, its agents and distributors do not guarantee the quality and/or availability of the services offered by the venues and cannot be held liable for any resulting personal loss or damage. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
17. Any disputes between customers pertaining to the use of the movie vouchers are strictly between the customers and the participating venues.
18. TLC collects claimants’ personal information in order to conduct this promotion and facilitate the distribution of Movie Gift cards/movie vouchers. TLC may disclose this information to suppliers and/or their respective agents. Personal information collected for the purposes of this promotion will be used for the purposes of the promotion only. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to TLC at movieticket@tlcmarketing.com.
19. In the unlikely event that movie vouchers become unavailable, TLC reserves the right to withdraw or substitute the Movie Gift card offer with one of equal or greater value.
20. Any persons taking advantage of this promotion do so on complete acceptance of these terms and conditions.
21. The Promoter shall also be bound by these Terms and Conditions and shall not encourage, persuade, promote, support or in any way assist in their breach.
