  1. This offer is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years or over who are registered holders of a Priceline Clubcard
  2. To qualify for this promotion, eligible Priceline Clubcard holders must first spend at least $50 or more in one transaction (excluding prescription purchases), in any participating Priceline store or Priceline Pharmacy on Saturday 19 December 2009 or Sunday 20 December 2009 (or on 21 December 2009 or 22 December 2009 at selected stores that are not open on 19 December 2009 or 20 December 2009.  See www.priceline.com.au and click on Great Clubcard escape for the list of the stores.
  3. The Priceline Clubcard must be scanned when payment is made.
  4. Qualifying customers are then required to log onto www.priceline.com.au and register their details for The Great Clubcard Escape before 20 January 2010. Information on how to register forms part of these terms and conditions.
  5. Registration for, participation in and gaining the benefit of the Great Clubcard Escape promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  6. Within 4 weeks of a valid registration being processed, qualifying customers will receive an email with their personalised voucher letter and exclusive PIN directing them to the website of participating accommodation providers.
  7. All Great Clubcard Escape’s must be taken by 20 December 2010. 
  8. Qualifying customers may use the voucher letter and PIN to obtain complimentary  accommodation at selected providers on payment of the MDE (refer below).   Accommodation is for 2 adults sharing a standard twin share room at participating providers and is conditional on the customer paying the minimum daily expenditure rate (MDE) for each guest or as otherwise nominated by the relevant accommodation provider for each night stayed.  The MDE will be applied by the accommodation provider toward the cost of each guest enjoying a  dinner and/or breakfast for each night stayed at the relevant provider.  The MDE excludes the costs of alcohol and the cost of lunch. See www.priceline.com.au for a list of participating providers and relevant MDE rates. 
  9. If dinner and breakfast meals are not taken, or the cost of those meals does not total the MDE, accommodation providers reserve the right to charge the nominated MDE rate in full.
  10. All additional ancillary costs incurred during the stay such as travel to and from the accommodation provider, lunch meals, alcohol, dinner and breakfast meal items that exceed the MDE, telephone calls, television/films and mini bar bills etc must be paid on departure. All costs incurred during the stay will be charged to the customer’s debit/credit card when they check out.
  11. Only one voucher may be used per participating accommodation provider.
  12. The offer can be used for a minimum of one night’s accommodation. There is no limit to the maximum number of nights the accommodation provider will accept the accommodation bookings. The offer is subject to accommodation provider availability and the accommodation provider manager’s decision is final.
  13. The prices and information given to customers are correct at the time of publication and could be subject to change. You are advised to check with your chosen accommodation provider that the prices quoted are still correct when making your booking.
  14. Bookings must be made in advance of the visit stating that you are in possession of The Great Clubcard Escape complimentary accommodation voucher and PIN. The voucher and PIN can also be used to check availability, discuss the usage of the offer and make your reservation.
  15. At the time of booking, a debit/credit card number may be required to be supplied to the accommodation provider. No payment will be debited from the card until your booking is confirmed and only if an additional payment is required. The details of this card will not be passed to any other parties.
  16. The offer is based on advance bookings only.  Offer excludes public holidays and may be limited during school holidays and other peak holiday periods. 
  17. All booking cancellations and amendments must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled date of arrival. A failure to comply with this 72 hour rule or a failure to honour the booking means a cancellation or amendment fee may be charged to the debit/credit card by the accommodation provider. This fee can be up to the standard rack rate room charge and is at the discretion of the accommodation provider.
  18. Customers are advised to ensure they obtain a written booking confirmation at the MDE rate with your chosen participating accommodation provider, prior to your arrival. It is highly recommended that the voucher is also handed to the reception upon arrival. Illegible or defaced vouchers may l not be accepted.  Failure to provide details of a confirmed booking at the MDE rate and/or provision of the voucher may result in you paying the full rate for your room and other related expenses.
  19. Additional proof of identification may be required by the accommodation provider upon arrival in order to redeem the offer.
  20. Additional persons travelling with you (such as children) may be eligible for discounted accommodation at the discretion of the accommodation provider. For the purposes of this promotion, ‘children’ must be aged 15 years or under. You must indicate if there are any additional persons when completing the booking with the accommodation provider.
  21. Payment made by Visa or Mastercard can incur a 3% surcharge and Amex a 5% surcharge. Please ensure you check with the accommodation provider if any surcharge applies
  22. Participating accommodation providers are all contracted to TLC Marketing Pty Ltd to participate in The Great Clubcard Escape offer. Please contact your chosen accommodation provider to confirm continual availability of the offer. Participating accommodation providers may be subject to change without notice.
  23. Neither the Promoter, nor its related companies, agents or distributors can accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged vouchers and PIN’s and each reserves the right to withdraw or amend any details and/or offers. Customers are advised to contact clubcardescape@tlcmarketing.comif they have lost their vouchers or PIN’s.
  24. The Great Clubcard Escape offer has no monetary value, is non-transferable, cannot be resold and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer or redeemed in whole or part for cash.
  25. In the event of a higher than expected acceptance rate, accommodation providers reserve the right to book voucher holders up to 6 months from date of calling to make a promotional booking.
  26. The Promoter, its related companies, agents and distributors are not responsible for the management of the accommodation providers and will not accept liability or claims relating to this promotion, including but not limited to, for disappointments or dispute in relation to management of the accommodation providers. The Promoter makes no guarantee about any aspect of the quality or performance of the accommodation provider.
  27. The Promoter, its related companies, its agents and distributors do not guarantee the quality and/or availability of the services offered by the accommodation provider and cannot be held responsible for any resulting disagreements or losses. Liability is not accepted for any personal loss (including but not limited to wasted expenditure), resulting from you or any other member(s) of your Group attending the accommodation provider, caused by matters beyond the Promoter's reasonable control. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
  28. The administrator of this promotion reserves the right to withdraw or substitute The Great Clubcard Escape offer with an offer of equal or greater value in the event of circumstances outside their control such as force majeure and/or the accommodation provider(s) listed cease to trade.
  29. The terms of this promotion are as stated here and no other representations (written or oral) shall apply.
  30. The Promoter reserves the right to vary these terms without notice.
